Day 1
Essex Steam Train Excursion– Ride the rails aboard a true Steam train with vintage rail cars.  Depart from the historic 1892 Essex Station and travel from the beautiful countryside to the riverside. Journey along the picturesque Connecticut River Valley. Foxwoods Casino, Ledyard, CT – Try your luck this evening at the country’s largest casino complex or browse the many shops.

Day 2
Boston City Tour– Discover this Capitol city including the USS Constitution (the oldest warship afloat in the US Navy), Beacon Hill, the Fleet Center, the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Bunker Hill, Boston Public Garden, State House and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Take time to explore the famous Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market filled with shops, carts of hand-crafted gifts and eateries. Boston Harbor Cruise – A relaxing narrated cruise on historic Boston Harbor.  See the bustling inner harbor. Learn about the past, present and future of the historic waterfront area including Charles Navy Yard, Boston‘s fishing industry, Tea Party site and more. The Downeaster – Ride Amtrak’s coastal train from Massachusetts to Dover, New Hampshire. Sit back, relax enjoy the view! Dinner Included. 

Day 3
Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad– Discover New Hampshire’s largest lake by rail!  Enjoy your scenic excursion hugging the picturesque shoreline, surrounded by mountain outcrops, with views of “Grand Style Resorts”, pristine woodlands, lake wild life and more.  You will ride the rails right to your cruise on the historic tracks of the Boston and Maine Railroad. M/S Mount Washington Cruise and Lunch – A wonderful cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, an Indian term meaning Beautiful Water in a High Place. Relax and enjoy this 72 square mile lake, the largest in New Hampshire. Fabulous with three mountain ranges surrounding the lake and 365 islands.  Delicious hot and cold lunch buffet as you cruise. Wolfeboro, NH – Spend time on your own to explore in this charming, lakeside New Hampshire village.


Day 4
Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum– Take a trip back in time as you enjoy  magnificent views of Portland’s waterfront aboard antique rail cars pulled by hard-working steam and diesel locomotives.  Discover the unique two-foot gauge trains that linked rural Maine to the rest of the world. Old Port, Portland – Time for lunch on own and shopping in this city’s historic, waterfront district. Lighthouse Lover’s Cruise – Maine’s rugged, rocky coast and picturesque lighthouses – what a combo! The scene unfolds as you cruise from Portland’s scenic harbor seeing the Calendar Islands, coastal forts, Maine lobster boats, playful seals and an array of seabirds. View as many as seven lighthouses including an up-close experience at Maine’s oldest and historic lighthouse, Portland Headlight, proudly perched on one of Maine’s famous rocky outcrops overlooking this beautiful harbor. Maine Lobsterbake Dinner with Entertainment – Enjoy the freshest of New England seafood with a traditional lobsterbake coupled with a dose of down east entertainment.
